1. Rechargeable Battery
Sutro comes with two rechargeable Li-lon batteries. So you can keep one in your device, and one charging.
2. Outer Core
The outer core has a double-wall, so it fills upto keep your Sutro buoyant, like a submarine.
3. Waterproofing
The Sutro is built as a cylinder, and we’ve built a radial seal to confirm that no water gets inside while it’s testing.
4. The Test Cartridge
The Sutro test cartridge is the real meat behind the technology. It’s powered by reagents from LaMotte and does all the testing.
How Does the Sutro Smart Monitor Work?
The Sutro Smart Monitor is a revolutionary device that simplifies and streamlines spa maintenance. It works by measuring the pH, chlorine or bromine, and total alkalinity levels three times a day. The Sutro monitors your spa water using liquid reagents, the same as those used in traditional at-home test kits or spa stores.
The monitor then sends the readings to the Sutro mobile app, which provides you with daily reports on your water chemistry. It also recommends precisely what and how much of each chemical you should add to keep your spa safe.

- A subscription to a monthly service plan ($49 for basic or $59 for premium) is required when purchasing a Sutro Monitor.
